4th Annual Race: Saturday April 10th, 2010

General course description:

For 2010 the race will consist of 10 laps of a 10K loop. The loop is Madison's most popular 10K race course, which takes runners along the shore of Lake Wingra, through scenic neighborhoods, and through the University of Wisconsin Arboretum.

The race will start at 6:30 a.m.(dawn). The course will be open for 13 hours, and will officially close at 7:30 p.m.(sunset).

Permanent mile markers are in place. About half of the course is flat and the other half has gentle hills. There will be two aid stations per 10K loop - one at the start/finish area and the other near the 5K mark.
